These six and a half years I spent with her were so full of love. There is a hole left by her in my heart, but I take that pain to use it to remember how much she meant to me. She was destined to die in that car but instead she got to live over six pampered years. I will always love her.

Thank you all for your kind words. Collecting all her photos really reminded me of just how happy Shuri was. She was named after the character from Black Panther because when we found her inside my sister's car engine, only she had enough strength left to meow and save her and her siblings.

Today was just a consolation...that they didn't explain was going to happen first. That was almost $200. Looking at like, probably $10k for scans and surgery, and then another $10k for radiation therapy. Meanwhile this little baby doesn't care and is trying to clean her messed up leg.

My little girl has to go in Monday to get her back leg amputated. Fun way to start the new year.
