Thanks to the generosity of several wonderful people, they now own their house, but this means monthly water bills. No payment = no water. A few kids drank unsafe water, and typhoid has ripped through the 41-member family. Two children died, and last heard, the man caring for them was in hospital.

He has given an interesting, informative and hard-hitting talk to the Nillumbik Climate Café, who have given me permission to share a summary of his presentation, and his slides. You can grab the two PDF documents here. Although he focuses on Australia, this is relevant to anywhere and everywhere, give or take a little.

This new report uses Australian data, but the findings apply in all the overdeveloped countries. It once more demonstrates that people born this century are intelligent and well-informed enough to know their future is bleak. The researchers have identified domestic violence, childhood trauma, harmful online content, substance abuse, untreated mental health issues, and rapid social change as part of the causal mix.

Laurel is an exceptional lady. She died, and returned from death with a mission. She and her husband, Edwin, started up a new nondenominational religious order, Elm Grove Sanctuary, which has the same purpose as Bobbing Around: to change global culture into what it should always have been: one encouraging and rewarding the best in human nature. Brian Feinblum runs the award-winning, influential Book Marketing Buzz blog. He interviewed me after the republication of Sleeper, Awake. I must not have been too outrageous, because he has honoured me with a return, this time discussing The Hole in Your Life.
