This is so shady. It's like Disney saying, "See, we're not using AI, our users are." Can't wait to see what the terms of service will be for this offering (users do all the work for free, Disney takes said work and makes money off it - the actual "I made this" meme).

Star Trek is full of such strong female characters you have to be blind (or an idiot) to ignore them. Three of my personal faves (outside the more obvious examples): Kira Nerys, Rachel Garrett, and Ro Laren.

Let me start with the obvious: Gene Roddenberry's wife, Majel Barrett, was at the core of Star Trek for decades. She acted in the show, became a guiding hand after her husband passed away, and will live on as the computer voice of Starfleet vessels.
