Russia is the aggressor. They broke the peace. They will not accept any negotiation that doesnt end with what amounts to a surrender from Ukraine. They lied about their military build up being training prior to attacking Ukrain. They have continued to lie up to and including Putins house being hit.

Trump only cares because he wants to prove that he does have the power to free her. He couldn't care less about her or why she is in jail. He also knows he gets MAGA miles he can cash in for storming a capital when needed.
