Just found out that immigrants who are "apprehended" by ICE are charged an apprehension fee of $5,000 (adjusted for inflation). Minors 14 and over are included thanks to the OBBA! Another Administration grift.

Homeland Security has arrested a man in Cape Coral, FL, allegedly for threats against government officials. He is currently at a detention center in Texas. HSI/ICE carried out several bags of evidence from his homeHowever, the only thing that shows up on social media is an upside down U. S. flag.

Your food prices are probably going to go up. ICE, in force, is in Immokalee, FL, one of the largest agricultural centers in the state. They are stopping vehicles, demanding everyone show IDs. If they don't have IDs, they are being detained. So much for not disrupting the food chain!

Here's another thought from left field. If the Republicans want to turn back the clock to make America grea t again, why don't they tax the wealthy at pre-1973 levels, i.e. 91%. Oh, they say it's only for women they want to send to the past.

Our leaders, especially our political leaders, are judged by their language. When one of them drops an F-bomb, people should lose all respect for that person. If you can't control your emotions and your anger, you should not be in a position of leadership.

I just saw a news item on a local station in SWFL that reported one of FL's legislators wants to do away with the requirement to pass a standardized test in basic algebra & English. That's in line with the Republican ideology to "keep 'em dumb." Republicans don't want a population that can think./1

Did anyone else see the DF Repulican from NC's townhall where he talked about Article II of the Constitution giving powers to the President? FYI, Rep., Article Ii delineated the powers of the Congress.
