Having seen your stormy, snowy pictures, thought I’d throw in a NZ flame tree from my neighbourhood to warm you up 😎

The rest of my spring garden before nature asserts itself tomorrow 🥰

It’s extremely windy here today and it’s forecast to rain heavily tomorrow, welcome spring! I’ve rescued the orchids 🥰

Was a bit dull and dreary yesterday, so denuded the garden of what it had managed to produce and bring it inside, I’m feeling better but the garden is a little naked 🤷‍♀️🦘🦘

Check out what we saw in Adelaide very early this am. Photo by my friend Sandy Horne. Hopefully you will have clear skies for your harvest moon. 🦘

Holiday jobs,my sister in law got into my pantry while I was recovering from my knee surgery, I’ve now got no idea where anything is, but she took a photo so I can make sure where to put things back. Bless you two, people of many talents 😘🦘🇦🇺

Practically the last rose in my garden called Queen Adelaide. The perfume is intoxicating 🦘🇦🇺

6 years ago ❤️‍🩹 thanks to my beautiful daughter in law Kerri who took me down to the church, and afterwards honoured the fisherman with a lunch of fettuccine with prawns. JB you are deeply missed 🦘🇦🇺

It’s taken all of autumn for my Manchurian Pear tree to begin to change colour, with winter starting in a week or two, I’m beginning to wonder about climate change 🤷‍♀️🦘🇦🇺
May 25, 2025 at 4:32 AM
Someone needs to tell my Manchurian Pear tree that it’s May and autumn is more than half way through, and there is only 1, I repeat 1 leaf changing colour. 12mm 💦 in 4 months is not enough Lord! Do I need to do a naked rain dance on the lawn? (What’s left of it) ☔️🦘🇦🇺

ANZAC day here, so I’m sharing my story of my father’s contribution to the freedom and safety against the tyranny of war. He wasn’t my dad then of course, I didn’t come along until the 1940’s. I’m very proud of him, he died just before I was 4.
Lest we forget 🦘🫠
