Like, it'd be one thing if this team were a bunch of scrappy underdogs that you could get behind and root for who played exciting high octane hockey and clawed every night but were still .500

Instead it's the rotting corpse of a Jim Benning drafted core that new mgmt wouldn't let go....

Waaaaaaaaaay too much coverage for a team that is both unlikable and virtually unwatchable right now.

Even those are in an awkward spot though.

Also the new seats are awful. Horribly uncomfortable. Crammed. Costing fans more to now be physically uncomfortable while simultaneously being emotionally uncomfortable while watching bad hockey.

Personally I think they lost because they had a failure of an offseason, never addressed their issues at center, made terrible moves (Kane), and have one of the worst forward groups in the league with their top C playing like a 3C on a contending team. But that's just me...
