Couturier is not my favorite Flyer. I think he should have towed the line more as C with Torts. I don't have a problem with this statement except for the fact it came after 39 scoring and what seemed like a raised energy level.

I agree to a point. I think certain stats are more important than others. I think a QB turning the ball over is a bigger detriment to a team than him throwing a TD. You have to be willing to make the decision to not turn it over when it matters. Jalen has 1 pick 2 total turnovers.

I feel like when you get to the SB you show your greatness and win. The idea that you were bested multiple times means the other guy was better that day. Jim Kelly got to 4 SBs and lost them all. I give Joe credit for winning every time he got there. I value that perfection more than volume.

The reason I brought up last year is to illustrate that Hurts started lower than these other QBs in the mind of the media. He has that much more to overcome. I like Stafford and I think he has had a great year. I feel like putting Jalen 6th is undervaluing his accomplishments.

Outlandish? No. I think it is wrong, though. Mahomes nor Stafford should be above him based on this year. The problem is Hurts started 12-15 in these guys minds and he has had to work in to the conversation even thought he is the reigning SB MVP and brought his team to SB 2 of the last 3 years.

Yes, winning matters when there is a choice to make between like players and careers. Your Dilfer argument is not in good faith. He was an average QB his whole career and got lucky. Marino was breaking records, but to this day is not considered at the highest level because a lack of SB.

I love the Trent Dilfer crap. He was on a great defensive team and he "managed" to a Superbowl. Marino should be top 5 but he isn't because of a lack of at least one SB win. Montana won 5 lost none when there were no rules on hitting QBs. Brady was great and is firmly in the 2nd spot.

I am 55 and I remember the same. I still hold Joe M in a higher regard than Brady because he never lost a Superbowl and I think that matters. As Jalen says, "When did winning not become the only thing?"

Yes. He beat 2 QBs on the list and his team is tied with best record in conference. Love Mahomes, but his record and loss to Hurts should put him lower. Wins over opponents head to head should matter.

Yes to all of those things. I would rather not say race unless it is obvious because it becomes a boy that cried wolf thing. He is the leader of that team and he plays the best when it matters most. He is a winner.

I agree that race is not the reason this list is faulty. Hurts does not get credit for how good he is for a myriad of reasons. Well stocked team, doesn't have the sexy numbers and he was replaced by Tua in a CFB championship. Unfortunately, wins are not counted enough. What he has done is amazing.
