When my father died in NJ of COVID in Apr 2020, they gave him ivermectin too. I did not think it would help, but I said ok. My feeling was they wanted to do something but felt powerless. The coverup seems no good, but I personally wouldn’t be so quick to judge.

Would love to read it but paywall, so I’m just reacting to soc media. You seem to show colonialism and indigenous are specific to West context. Me, I think Japan engaged learned western colonialism well & applied a hybrid with Chinese & its own imperial traditions.
