It was so dark that I couldn't see her face, but her voice was gentle. I felt myself relax, just a little bit. It felt like we were nearing the end of the haunted house, too. I could see light coming from outside.

However, D-suke showed no sign of returning either. It had already been 10 minutes since he left the room. At first, we'd just been chatting amongst ourselves like normal, but we started to realize that something really wasn't right.

Her name was C-na. With glasses that made her look studious, and straight bangs, everything about her screamed "Committee President!" Or "Prodigy!" But in reality, her grades weren't really that good, and she read geeky magazines profusely. In other words, she was an otaku-type girl.

It started out as something I decided on a whim, something that I dragged everyone into just because it sounded like fun, but I'm really happy that we were able to do this together.
