I’m just saying TPCI implied anything extreme, but calling this “healthy” is wild. In most fandoms, a character killing someone they hate isn’t brushed off as enemies to lovers. And an image with a heart does allude to romance, intent aside.

People can totally ship them, fiction allows that! What’s not okay is glamorizing a clearly toxic dynamic as healthy. Satirical or critical takes are fine, but a children’s company promoting it as a “ship” crosses a line, unlike adult focused media that plays outside canon.

How does that make it any less wrong? Archie genuinely believed he killed Maxie, he literally said it. Acting like it’s fine just because it ‘worked out’ ignores how horrific the intentions were. And in US/UM, they do kill each other. You can’t glamorize that.
