There are more pro-Jim Crow Americans today than there were in the 50s. Sadly, that portends a vastly different outcome. I hope not, but they've tossed their consciences into the MAGA flames. Nothing will hold them back.

Shooting an innocent & unarmed minister with pepper balls, for laughs, is one of them.

The "religious freedom" that the MAGA Christen claim to promote is really "the freedom to force religion into MAGAs image."

The problem is that anytime we turn to the political to enact any credal more or belief, we compromise the Cross. And that's true of the right AND the left. The Cross causes true heart change. Political means merely force a change of outward expression.

Have to disagree. CHrist is political only so far as his existence denies the power of man's political games or the need for them to further Christ's example or coming kingdom. There is a vast difference between a Christian who happens to be politically active, vs a political Christian.

One can be a political progressive and a Christian. Same with being politically conservative.

But “Christian” can not be conservative or progressive. One is either like Christ or they are not. Christ had no party or political ideology.
