One of our library volunteers puts in a 5-hour day every week, and she apologized yesterday that she will miss next week, because she ALSO adopts senior and hospice/end-of-life dogs to give them the time of their life before they die, and she’s going to go get one next week. 🥹 ❤️

No response is the number one thing I hate about publishing. I find it demeaning and unprofessional. It interferes with creative thought and productivity.

OMFG I love this book! It’s unique and fresh and charming and just freaking delightful in every way. It’s a graphic novel for newly independent readers and it’s the start of a series!

Jeff Strand’s books are also a good choice for high schoolers (or upper middle) who used to read Wimpy Kid. Funny, short, good covers (ours are paperback) but we need more like these!

This is a book I try to hand to former Wimpy Kid lovers that are in high school. It’s a road trip book with dark humor, a great premise and excellent writing. Sometimes they check it out, sometimes not. Fantastic book though!
