It is sad to witness how this fabricated "State of permanent fake emergency" seems to be so effective. The measures taken, such as labeling the entire anti-fascism movement – which could easily encompass any viewpoint divergent from Trump's extremist stance – as terrorists, are deeply concerning.

Somehow, NYT doesn’t mention neither ignoring rules or engagement, or Trumps «war from within», but it caught this chilling quote of Trump, spicing his meandering weave with some causal conversation:
