Most of my friends don't even use the subscription tab. They solely rely on the front page to keep bringing them back to creators they like. I think its lunacy.

I want to add I don't think these are valid excuses. I'm ashamed at my own lack of action as well as my fellow Americans. I wish we had a better culture around protests and marches but they are heavily demonized over here.

I wont pretend to know everything but culture and size of America I think have been the largest obstacles. "American Individualism" can isolate and fracture communities and the size of our country makes it hard to rally a unified front. Obviously its more complicated but its important context.
