I have cast iron pans too - I have to stop visitors from washing them as I'm very particular about them!

I have some very big toads in the garden who protect my vegetables from slugs (possibly why they are so big!)

I have set up a separate list of people who share photos of flowers, animals and gentle things so I can start the day with that and only look at the rest of the people I follow when I'm feeling more robust.

It has always been part of the job description (i'm joking, i'm not that organised!) for partners for me that they love animals and especially dogs, so this has never come up as an issue for me.
