Gavin Newsom has been pushing back on Republicans harder and more effective than any other Democrat in recent years. The idea that he's somehow caving to or promoting MAGA nonsense by having conversations with them is ridiculous.
Folks defending Gavin Newsom for platforming extreme seditionists reminds me of the people who defended Tulsi Gabbard for supporting Assad and Putin.
