This morning, I am thinking about all the innocent families being terrorized by ICE. We all want our streets to be safe from violence and terror, so ICE shouldn’t be on them.

Donald Trump is wrong when he says some furloughed employees don’t deserve back pay as a result of his shutdown. They are doing their best to show up for us even without a paycheck, and they deserve every single dollar due to them.

I am holding space for the traumatic alerts we get on our phones that quickly get buried in our feeds. The people sleeping on the streets while ghoulish pundits dehumanize them in the worst ways. The families shattered by deportations, while our cities lose sanctuary.
