contempt. But Jan brings it all to the point when she says, people like us have to stand up for the ones that don’t have the privilege we do. Minnesotans care a lot about decorum, but they also really care about fairness and justice.

What sticks out to me as so Minnesotan about this video is how the guy expresses his anger about violations of decorum: the agents were unprofessional, they mocked his license plate, they were trying to catch people coming out of church, they treated US, a respectable retired white couple with

East Coast person here, been living in MN since 1998. It took me years to understand that this is MN fury and is to be taken seriously.

Why are you reporting on this as though Trump’s claims should be taken at face value? There’s no evidence that those boats were smuggling drugs, or even that they were trying to come to the US.

Cool version of one of my favorite Advent hymns! The wings on those angels are way too small to be useful, though, and the glimpse of Sting‘s face at the end is weirdly menacing. Interesting.
