got a stack of Illumicrate books today lol they came in a big box to fit all their individual boxes into.
also, alternate book jackets are a fantastic idea until you have to put them all on yourself 😭😂

there’s just some books it’s like, I might as well buy it? one audiobook copy with 143 people waiting for it means I’m basically never getting it.
you can checkout for 14 days so if everyone maxes out and doesn’t account for time between the hold coming in and checking out, the wait is 5.5 years.

same publisher picked up a regency romance and it’ll be interesting how well their promo and book positioning in stores will sell it. they’re promoting it as a histrom for Emily Henry fans and if Carrie Bradshaw wrote a regency romance.

I thought it was weird there was so much written under Marketing Plans on Edelweiss because most publishers don’t bother writing anything specific. but then the Key Selling Points explained why.

found the one other Redwall book that was published with this style cover 😌 there was only 1 in San Antonio I had to brave traffic to go across town for it lol

I didn’t even know the author had any Regency books because I only ever really see her Gilded Age books recommended but I’m enjoying these and I especially like that the prose is super easy to read like Tessa Dare’s books 😌
