Bücher sind Gebrauchsgegenstände. Da würde ich mir wenig Sorgen machen. Nur sollte kein Kaffee mehr vom Einband tropfen, das geht dann über das übliche Maß hinaus... und nachweisbares Bekritzeln ist natürlich auch was anderes. Aber wie oft kann man das schon wasserdicht nachweisen.

Im Bereich Patente sollte das mit dem Geld kein Problem sein. Muss man halt gucken wie man einsteigt, aber als ich studiert hab war das definitiv noch ein Ding.
