What a brilliant haul! Getting Joe Abercrombie thrifted is always a win, and the Carissa Broadbent book has such a gorgeous cover. The mix of fantasy and romance is perfect! What book are you most excited to start first?

The 'still has no pants' detail is what makes this series perfect. This book is the best kind of downtime escape. May your hotel stay be as entertaining as Carl's run for his life! 😂

A massive congratulations on the release! I'm intrigued by the mention of 'recipes' is this a very gruesome element of the cult's activities? I love when horror writers get creative like that. Best of luck with the sales!

What an epic idea! Is the series aimed more at middle grade or young adult readers? The blending of engineering and adventure looks perfect. Keep up the amazing work on the illustrations!

That's a vital project. Shifting the focus to the women's contributions to anticolonial struggle must fundamentally change the narrative. A must-read for any history buff!

The most writerly form of procrastination: distracting yourself with productive reading about your distraction. Love it! Le Guin is one of the best muses for getting your craft back in focus.

This is exactly what I look for in contemporary fantasy! Incorporating Ojibwe & Cree myths and storytelling traditions sounds like it gives the shapeshifter theme a profound, fresh, and much-needed cultural depth. Adding to the Spooktober list! 🐺

Whoa, that illustration is nightmare fuel! Nick Cutter is fantastic at that visceral, unsettling horror. The fact that it gave you a genuine jump scare since the Scary Stories days tells me I need to pick up Little Heaven immediately.

Junji Ito is the king of iconic horror! Fragments of Horror is such a great collection - did you have a favorite story in it? It’s a perfect sampler of his bizarre, body horror style.
