I have read this book numerous times, and I find something else to cherish with each read. My students created the setting of their favorite scenes out of cardboard and are writing a script to act out for younger grades.

Very weird, yet I couldn't put it down. I remember checking it out of the library over and over.

It was hauntingly intriguing and I couldn't get enough of it.

And to add to the absurdity, the Bible is the most stolen book in the United States.

According to ALA's Top 100 Most Frequently Challenged Books: 2010-2019, the Bible is number 52.

I am not a historian, but the documentary Eyes on the Prize and a class on German art during WWII sparked a passion.
