I am frustrated. Dems would have done better to skip the address entirely and schedule town halls in vulnerable Republican districts where the representatives and senators refuse to meet. Other Dems could have organized a protest in another part of the city during the
speech. Why is this so hard?

I sincerely hope that the Dem plan for the State of the Union address isn’t going to be “sit on your hands and when they go low…” Honestly I hope they don’t attend at all.

Meanwhile, who is in the lead to chair the DNC? Out of the top 4 Wilker, Martin, Skoufis and O’Malley. @democracydocket.com has a good article on this, but left out James Skoufis of NY. People need to focus on this and let the leadership know who they want! Elections are February 1.
