Happy birthday to PP Arnold. Here's her amazing version of To Love Somebody filmed in France in 1968

George's 'what a nice fella.' is one I say a lot from that episode.

Can we just appreciate the majesty and the hilarity of these screams altogether! Magic.

This is great. I'm pretty sure I said every scream John does into a solo at the time. Which has reminded me of this video. Disturbing or magic? You decide!

Back when Twitter was just about bearable I sent out a hopeful
Tweet asking for Lovely Beatles Moments.

Not songs or albums - just shards of Beatleness that make people happy.

I turned the responses into a little zine.

Here it is. Hope you like it.

God, those screams are great. I think my favourite one is the Money one.

Season 7 is officially GO.

First things first: George Harrison and John Lennon went on David Frost's show in 1967 to talk about their newfound practice of transcendental meditation, then came back next week and debated it with academics.

This is a really great piece about the reality of indie publishing. I read somewhere recently that if pbks followed inflation they should be selling for £20 a copy. But they are not, and it's the indies taking the margin hit.

An article on the pressures on publishing, rising costs, what can be done about it - and how readers can also help.

Honestly, everyone should get to hang out with indie booksellers in a hotel in the middle of nowhere at least on weekend of their lives. They are the best of folk doing the best job! Thanks @gardnersbooks.bsky.social! Thanks Bookseller's Association!
