It would shift things, but it wouldn’t fix it. Look at the other countries with universal health care - they have their own problems they need to work on, and not just stemming from austerity, which would be inevitable because conservatives will never go away.

Have you seen Slapshot? I have recently gotten really into hockey and watched that movie as a right of passage, and saw it as a massive satire of toxic masculinity in sports. When I saw it was written by a woman, it all made sense, and made the movie richer than most sports movies.
