I didn't have it but I have a faulty gene that causes polyps (and other growths) that can then turn cancerous. Too many to remove so the only option was to do a resection. I got lucky, other family members weren't. The condition's called FAP. Which is the only thing causing a juvenile smirk. TY x

Yeah, ok overall. Upper gastric problems occasionally now but, you know, I'm grateful because otherwise I'd probably only have another 10-15 years, I reckon.
