A buddy of mine who is a die-hard CFL fan (Lions) and for context, a huge F1 nut.

Their theory is flawed. I know this because when it comes to racing, I feel about NASCAR the way Canadian NFL fans feel about the CFL. No matter what NASCAR does, I'm not watching it. But there are people out there for the CFL to find in its own authentic way. Its legacy has appeal of its own making. Messing with that is the start of a downward spiral
