Unequal trade though. He really wants that prize. If they give it to him, there will be no future motivation to support existing peace deals let alone new ones. Besides, Netanyahu is totally motivated to staying in power and avoiding prison.

Are you Jonathon Harris Brown?

I disagree. A guy I used to know, who I would never associate with this stuff, posted this reply to Farage on Facebbook:
If someone is illegally in the country, it's surely obvious that they should be removed?? Time for change. This time don't bail on the people that back you and see it through.

It's very revealing and it smacks of desperation. The (very effective) opposition over the decades to the establishment of an independent state has enabled an ever-growing sense of impunity. Eventually there will be push-back and gravity will win. Their say on a future settlement will be limited.

How many people voted and by what proportion?

Example 1: Supporting a 'trade deal' with an erractic, hostile,
coercive government rather than restore the relationship with our neighbours who are both our allies and a known quantity:

Hmm, activists — yes. But for SW1, the USA is its guiding star. Couple that with MPs believing — correctly or otherwise — that this is where their constituents stand, and chasing what they think will win them the next election. Add to that those MPs who simply want to 'stick it to the left'.

Translation - there probably isn't a deal to be done; 10% is the floor and other sectoral tariffs at higher tariff rates are likely non-negotiable. So up pops Vance, who has been noticeably absent during the tariff war, to give himself exposure by lobbing another grenade.

How does the EU negotiate?

Ah thanks, found it. Not sure which subscription I've got. There are two menus - Radar Lite and Extra Full.

Thanks for the link. I do have a sub 🙂
Which menu is it under?
April 11, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Where is that on the website. I can't find it.

My whole life has been under the shadow of SW1 deciding that the 'solution' to Britain's problems is to either centralise or decentralise in endless repetition. Bunch of useless fuckers.

I suggest you look at Reuters. The (favourable) view from US traders is worrying:

VIEW Investors react to Trump tariff announcement
U.S. President Donald Trump further escalated a trade war on Wednesday by announcing he would impose reciprocal tariffs to match duties put on U.S. goods by other countries.

Well spotted (although there may be caveats in the detail). I suspect that the US will spot any uptick in any transit trading and revisit the tariff for the UK.

The Indepent is to launch AI i. History repeating itself? I wonder how long it will take before they sell this bite-sized morsel.

YouGov suck. This eg being a case in point. Does that headine mean the 2024 election voters? If so, those survey results are meaningless because there has been a big increase in Refrom support. Does that result reflect new supporters who may not be invested in Reform's ideology? Possibly not.
