Glad about Australia's electoral counting system. Pencil on paper, counted by hand, scrutinised by political allies of all candidates, conducted by public sector workers with no vested interests. Sounds clunky but we have accurate results on the night within hours of polls closing. Harder to game.

It's the only rational and humane response to the rapidly polarising inequality of wealth worldwide.

The US still refuses to be a signatory to the International Criminal Court along with China and Russia, those bastions of democracy.

Surely a 14 year old girl is a school student not a 'model'.

He's a window licker. No point wishing he was better, it's a waste of time.

Still miss his analysis. No-one comes close.

NSW police APPROVED a neo nazi rally outside NSW parliament on 8 Nov. The rally called for the abolition of the Jewish lobby and openly advocated for white supremacy. Who in their right mind approved this? Are they still employed?

Which is fair because they created that wealth in the first place.

Indeed. If they don't realise it now, they will when they are young adults. Then, hell to pay.

Read Brian Toohey's "Oyster, The Story of the Australian Secret Intellegent Service". Written from what is on the public record and never repudiated by those named. Hawke comes off terribly as a traitor and CIA plant.

Perhaps easier to compare is this.
Last ten years deaths by guns in US 14.00 per 100,000 people.
Last ten years deaths by guns in Australia 0.9 per 100,000 people.

The pushback on diversified and individualised solar and wind power challenges the power and wealth of a few. No matter that it is a more efficient, earth friendly and democratic way of generating and distributing power. Remembering "no blood for oil".

That's the only language industrialists understand. Moral arguments are wasted on these people.

I'm more cncerned with the billions spent on
AUKUS with nothing tangible to show for it. To a murderous, thieving regime. Let's concentrate on that money disappearing before our very eyes.

If you want young politicians who are trying to keep a family together while travelling extensively, these are the costs. Do we want septo and octogenarians governing us like the gerontocracy in the US? In the scheme of things $1M is very little to keep real human beings running for office.

Well done The Australia Institute for hammering away at this for many years. The message is breaking through to the public and is now on the political agenda, which is a fantastic breakthrough considering the vested interests and money involved.

Already in Townsville insurance is a luxury item that many people do not afford. This has been the case for a long time now. No-one living on the old age pension could afford an average of $11,000 p.a. Only one way this is going.
