There is something beautiful about the traditional Chinese way of life in rural areas. Bejing and Shanghi, both cities I've been to, are gorgeous. But the CCP is totalitarianism. There are powerful people in the US trying to turn the US into Christo-Facist totalitarianism, but we're not there yet.

There are a LOT of Chinese sympathisers in here. People who are in the US, but are unhappy with it right now, have no idea how much worse China is.

I agree that massive data centers required to run it are bad for the environment and something should be done about it. I don't think the ethics of AI are as simple as "kill the environment, yes or no."
