people dog on 1.17 (even though 1.18 released in the holidays and 1.19 a year after 1.17) but 1.18 alone despite not adding the new features itself genuinely made me like mining (which is Kinda important, i just made farms before)
not to mention the caves themselves, to this day im amazed by them

i'd really like to see this idea realized into a mod, it's a really simple set of changes that feel like mechanics that wouldve been there from the start

i dont plan to do this again and honestly i dont recommend you do this either unless you really have no other immediate creative plans, but it is fun to do

i left a lot of creatures to the last hour so it makes sense to have the last be to the first hour
