His father was one of the founders, he inherited. I think he has three PHDs, too. So he knows RF.

This design was driven by needs more than aesthetics. Had to be made by hand, handle enormous power and be relatively safe. The large upper bulb is there to cool the vapor, with condensate running back down to the pool in the bottom. Oh, and UV light was also a by-product.
