I think it's just impossible at this point for Sony, and especially third-party developers and publishers, to ignore Steam.

This just screams that you haven't experienced higher refresh rates.
1080p 60fps is fine for handheld gaming, but for anything else the experience is dramatically improved when you hit even 120fps, 1440p or 4k. A good monitor or TV to match will completely change your experience with the medium.

AMD is, not only really good value, but also the top performing dogs rn. I don't think I could see myself ever switching if they keep it up.
