I welcome your suggestions for organizations that will make a meaningful impact on the lives of trans folks, particularly given *waves hands all around*. Bonus points if they have a focus on immigrants and/or at-risk youth. (2/2)

More generally, I'm interested in suggestions on how to get into frontend development (books, online resources, online courses, etc.) when you're not starting from scratch, and already know backend development (I'm also conversant in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and DOM) [3/3]

So, I'd like to start using an actual frontend framework in my apps. I know that React is one of the most popular libraries out there, but is that a good starting point? Are there other libraries (particularly if they pair well with Django) that I could use to ease into frontend development? [2/3]

It's super easy to make an appointment for a shot at Walgreens (and I've heard similar things about CVS and similar places) and most insurance will cover it.

We use 24-hour time pretty much everywhere in Spain, but you would rarely hear someone say "las veinte" when referring to 20:00. You would say "las ocho" and, most times, it's clear from context whether you're referring to AM or PM. When it's not, you add "de la mañana" or "de la tarde/noche"

The tattoo is the four stars of the flag of Chicago (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of...). I got it to mark my 20th year in Chicago and, of course, to show off my pride in my adopted hometown.
