UK hitting net zero by 2050 is nothing to do with climate change, it won't make a difference. The only upside for the UK is energy security and maybe some localised environmental improvement. Maybe that's worth the cost, maybe it's not. Although if you're on 200k+ it'll be an easier pill to swallow.

Some mothers perpetuate the toxic traits of their sons and a lot of fathers perpetuate a culture that will eventually negatively impact their daughters.

This only works in the UK if the single person is living at home with their parents.

Get organized, Europe.

America is doing what America has always done, putting national interest before all else. We saw it in WW2 and ever since in the Middle East.
Europe is now less useful in its pursuit for military and economic hegemony. Trump is just more open about it than previous presidents.

That would mean having to talk about changing the economic system that allows the top 1% to accumulate such wealth and whilst ever that top 1% has so much political influence and economic leverage, they won't allow the system to be changed and there will never be the political will to change it.

It's a shame the only way this would work is for all governments to act in sync with one and other. At this point it feels as though the only way this would happen is for a global economic meltdown, by which time it might be too late, and the damage caused too severe to repair.

Why would the government want our young people escaping to Europe to fill employment gaps there when we are struggling with our own labour shortages here at home?
Maybe that's what Labour are thinking 🤔

The real problem is an economic system obsessed with profit, low wages, deregulation, economic and population growth at any cost. All propped up by an elite group of psychopaths. For what? To make rich people richer and further entrench inequality, poor health and division for the rest of us.
