I think you have the background to do a great podcast in any of those areas, especially investigative journalism and politics, maybe with some sports mixed in to lighten it up occasionally. You could bring in some guests for interviews/chats or shine a light on some underreported stories. Good luck!

I've lived through the fall of the Berlin wall/breakup of the Soviet Union, the election of Barack Obama, moon landings, the rise of the internet (ok, there's plusses and minuses with that one, but here we are using it right now). We will overcome this moment and have more moments to be proud of.

My understanding is H-1B visas are for 3 years, extendable one time for an additional 3. They are not intended to allow indefinite residency or any citizenship. Beyond that you need to get a permanent resident visa which allows for free travel. How did this person stay 10 years on an H-1B?

There's an inflation report due soon, too. Apparently that's not going to be released either supposedly due to the shutdown. Not to worry, though, construction on the "ballroom" will continue.

I report from the front lines of our Embattled City as I write this. So far our rations of donuts and Starbucks are holding, but we may be forced to switch to beer and hamburgers soon. We await the Apocalyptic Battle which must soon be upon us as our Dear Leader has told us. We shall hold the line!
