Had to say goodbye to an old friend today. Sweet George, he loved cuddles, ear scritches and wet food with gravy. He loved my mum with all his little kitty heart, and was her constant companion after dad passed away.

Starting to get that 'trapped in this place' feeling again. I want to pack up and move to some seaside town where no one knows my name and I can start over and begin to heal. I'll have a cozy, light filled cottage and I'll be able to write, and finally, after so long, I'll feel like I'm home.
