The Art of Classical Italian Saber!

Classical fencing with the Italian smallsword, foil and saber is in Sundays at 11:30am in Somerville, MA.

Our rapier crew continued their exploration of feints last week by feinting off of a blade pressure.

Pressures have various uses. Here the team are using it give themselves more breadth to feint without blade contact and to augment their opponent’s anxiety by further taking their point off line.

We took out “Feint or Ain’t!?” Game to saber class this weekend.

A fun exercise that works a lot of great and tricky skills. Great effort by our beginners!
