Former dissident movement leader. Overthrower of tyrants, rebuilder of governments, debaser of the nobility, and bestest English king ever. I never met a tax I didn't like.
The Monroe Doctrine did not automatically give the entirety of the Americas to the United States almost 200 years later. Nor did it include Greenland, which was colonized by Denmark in 1721. The Monroe Doctrine specifically allows colonies already founded to remain the property of the colonizers.

I love taxes! Did you know it's possible to pass a law that taxes someone directly and substantially? If you have dangerous overmighty subjects -like billionaires- that are endangering everyone, you take their toys away if they won't play nice. And then use their money to fix the country they broke.

If you want my attention as a 2028 POTUS candidate, tell me what you're going to undo as much as what you're going to do. Raze and rebuild the monstrosity of a WH. Retract all golden passes or whatever they are. Abolish the DHS, not just ICE. Burn it down, piss on the ashes, and start anew.

I've been thinking about it, and I think the next president could learn from Louis XIV. That guy knew how to centralize power! He literally forced regional warlords to live with him in a very nice palace where he could keep an eye on them. Hard to launch a rebellion from your apartment at the palace

Having seen how well ICE works for spreading tyranny, I have started work on a new English agency to terrorize and disappear people. Now, I'm still working on a name but check out this badass insignia.

I noticed that without Sean Connery around the billionaire villains with dreams of world domination are coming put of the woodwork. These two events are clearly related.

At some point Hegseth is going to tell us we can't handle the truth.

I tried that once after killing a young man I'd kept languishing in the Tower from the time he was a child until he died during an "escape." When no one bought it, I just went with God Save the King and it all worked out.

These sorts of articles are designed to make you comfortable with making rich people richer, either by renting perpetually and building no equity, or by taking a 50 yr mortgage and building marginal equity. This "K-Shaped" economy didn't happen by accident.

I decided to live in a build-to-rent community after buying a home. I'll never buy again.
John Santa Orta sold his home and moved into a build-to-rent townhouse. He feels like he owns a house, but without much of the responsibilities.

I never thought I would have a *favorite* astronaut -I mean, who doesn't like astronauts- but here we are.

This was the very best part.

The repudiation of MAGA is great, but the comeuppance granted to loser-talking doomsayers on the left -however near or far from the center they are- is absolutely magical.

Lolololol I haven't enjoyed myself this much since I had two adolescent pretenders murdered after having my Privy Council fake their escape from the Tower. It was very popular!!!!

Old Soviet Joke:

One day Stalin called the NKVD and told Beria that he lost his pipe. Later that night, Stalin called Beria and said don't worry I found my pipe. And Beria said, but Comrade Stalin, we arrested 100 people and 99 confessed! And Stalin said only 99? Continue the investigation!!!

It's funny to see the people who spent 2020 assmad about slaver statues be absolutely fine with the desecration of the White House.

My advice? Condemn that abomination. This can never be undone. The next administration needs to start over with a new residence.

Lots to unpack here, but he did unironically call fascists "the hard men of Gondor."

By the by, England -and its best king ever (me)- have dealt with overmighty oligarchs before. I found than an aggressive tax policy along with some time in the Tower adjusts aristocrats' attitudes rather well.

I am very glad of the outcome. I know what it's like to have Langley misrepresent you. Also no one gives me enough credit for hiding him so well. I mean, not as well as he hid the princes but whatever.
