Joey and my husband started singing songs from Musical BBQ, and the baby stopped crying. I think they sang every song on the album twice before we got to our destination, and we all laughed the whole time.

Before my dad died, I took pictures of everything. I haven't looked at any of them in a long time, but tonight I did. It was painful but also inspiring, and maybe it's time to give myself permission to take a moment and obsess about the beauty of the world around me.
