Alas no it was me doing courses at home that they recommended but that I'd have to pay for (although TBF I got way less upskilling done than I wanted due to the whole surgery thing and they seem pretty ok about training me in the rest)

On the job thing sorry to toot my own horn but I decided I wanted to join this other department, spent months trying to ~upskill~ myself (with surgery in the middle) and then an opportunity came up and I went for it and GOT it? I can DO things???!!! Magic!

You didn't actually need to know all those last bits but I do feel on some level like if I'm starting a new job I need a six week summer holiday first.

Going to be phasing into my new job which I imagine, for some reason, to be like the TARDIS appearing, so one day a week for a month I've got new job training which I think will be fun, like when the teacher wheels the TV in at school.

I have nothing against my job and hope to enjoy my new one, I like earning my own money etc - but I do understand the 4 day week people sometimes.

It's white wine, which some people say is an Anglo-Catholic thing, and it is also dessert wine which is the roguest thing about it.

There was a lot of unhelpful online speculation at the time about if the guy was an Islamist - no, he was a white Brit who didn't really have a motivation because he was so ill. So we didn't feel targeted as such.
