A 4-panel comic. My 6yo daughter hands me a piece of paper and says "Veronica invited me to her birthday party! She gave me her phone number." I look at the paper-- it was clearly written by the child herself, there are too many numbers written down for it to be an actual phone number, and some numbers are impossible to read. I just say, uncomfortably, "Ummmm", while I imagine Veronica at her own birthday party, sad, thinking "Why didn't anyone come?"

Nice!! Yeah she’s starting to think about high school (she’s in 4th grade, high school here starts in 7th grade) and there’s a circus program there and she hopes to go there! Your kid sounds so cool haha

My 9yo daughter likes to climb things so I found a circus/Chinese pole class aimed at adults, but they allowed her in. She’s right at home, folks

A 4-panel comic. A while ago, our oldest daughter got a weird little toy in a Kinder Surprise egg. Is it a cat? Is it a squirrel? We'll never know! I started hiding it around the house for my husband to find. In his underwear drawer. In the fridge. In his jar of hair paste. My husband grows more exasperated with every panel.

Honestly I think they’re cute, but they’re wildly overpriced and their popularity baffles me. The lineups we saw in Japan just for Labubus were nuts

I don't know if it's because they all got used to FaceTime and video calls but my kids are still, to this day, terrible at talking on the phone.

A 4-panel comic. I'm on the phone. My 3yo daughter comes shouting "I WANNA TALK TO GRANDMA" and reaches for my phone, so I hand it to her. In the next panel, she's standing still, and my mother on the phone says hi. "Did you go to daycare today? Did you have fun? ...Hello?" All the while, my kid does nothing and says nothing. I peek into the last panel.

I had never played Tactics Ogre until the remake (remaster?) of Tactics Ogre Reborn that came out a few years ago and I loved it. It was soooo hard haha

Yep okay! I’ve played both FFTA games. They’re fun but I liked the original FFT better, but that’s just because I like dark and gritty plots and the FFTA are both very lighthearted in comparison. Still super good though!

I’m playing Classic mode because the visuals were my favourite and I feel like the new UI is a step backwards. I love all the little animations. I’m having fun with the fancy translation, too, which I think is from the PSP port I hadn’t played? It’s good!
