My watch just told me at 21 o'clock that "I can still make it" to stand 12 hours during this day. Only 4 hours left to stand!

Things a 3 trillion USD company can't do.

The next phase of the global decoupling story proceeds in India where Foxconn seems to run into issues importing equipment and people from Mainland China.
Exclusive: Foxconn stops sending Chinese workers to India iPhone factories
In addition, equipment shipments are delayed, potentially disrupting next-generation iPhone production in India.

Seeing people on macOS suffer from the ZScaler mess which we emphasized for many years based on the Linux variant: people can listen or they can just feel the pain themself. Humans have the unique capability to learn from other people’s experience. You should use that capability more!

Will the next-gen of military warfare run on 5G? The PLA at least things like that.

Interestingly in the past there were many mobile base-stations based on 4G for military purposes. I'm surprised that only just now 5G is adopted.
China claims first 5G base stations for military use
The 5G mobile base station delivers high-speed, low-latency and secure data services, and is capable of supporting up to 10,000 users

I love how the datasheets just keep getting fatter and fatter!

So cool to have an open source chip with its own 700 page datasheet!

Omakub is a tool to setup a development Linux environment. The other day a friend was complaining that the installation wasn't working in China. As this topic comes up often here some hints to handle the Linux proxy madness:

It's now ~2 years and there are just 4 patches left in the patch series of StarFive for the JH7110. Will we have complete upstream support for this RISC-V CPU in 2025? I certainly think so.
