In the future, I hope we remember the companies which did this.

It’s happened before in history and we casually laughed, wondering how people could have allowed it. Now we know.

Same with yesterday’s evil freak who was convicted yesterday in Wales.

When cringe and corruption find love.
December 10, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Yup, the love of money is the root of all evil. Chaucer nailed it.

So, tell me about this “legacy of excellence”?
December 8, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Yes you’re right.
December 6, 2025 at 8:33 PM
I’m so suspicious of everything now that I wonder why this is coming out when it should have come out ages ago? I hate that I’m even thinking that.

I guess the human centipede did for a bit in that horror movie. That one admittedly didn’t have the tech bros and millionaires touching themselves vigorously as they surveyed what they created.

He’s keeping the racists on side by not apologising and the Torygraph on side by aligning with the Tories. I’m just so tired.

Nauseating

I follow these people but also follow people like Dan Neidle too. Is there any hope left for us all? The whole political landscape feels so depressing and overwhelming.

Jurors do get multiple warnings. The temptation to discuss a case with a fellow juror outside the room is also intense. Especially in a very emotive trial. I get it but jurors shouldn’t do it.
December 2, 2025 at 9:11 PM
The presumption is that the case should only be prosecuted in court. What about the risk of bad actors doing “their own research”?
December 2, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Yes you can disagree with your fellow jurors and there’s no appeal. If that’s what you mean. I understand that it’s tough if that happens. Would it be any fairer if there was no jury system? I really don’t know.
December 2, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Sorry? What do you mean? Are you some kind of McKenzie Friend?
December 2, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Jurors are given very explicit instructions about their conduct. I’m not sure if we are talking at cross purposes.
December 2, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Seriously, who’s the Registrar in these proceedings? It’s baffling how people type such nonsense with such chest.
December 2, 2025 at 8:33 PM
Did ChatBPT tell you that? Look up legal hallucinations. 🙄 Love the word “evinced”though.
December 2, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Erm they do that if they do their own research/or share it with the jury. That’s obviously wrong. Forgive me if I’ve misunderstood.
December 2, 2025 at 8:30 PM
And also, the studies may have changed but jury biases aren’t what we’d think. Working classes go much harder on their peers as they spot the bullshit as do middle class juries.
December 2, 2025 at 8:27 PM
I’m a criminal lawyer and I’ve sat on a jury. I was a shocked how little some jurors had understood from the trial and how little others cared (historic child sex abuse) I’m more worried about the risks of a politicised judiciary. Which could easily come once the jury trial system is abolished.

She’s a little kid. Let her do little kid things ffs. Her close friends accept her. The rest of the school pupils probably don’t. It’s just awful. (I’ve seen this at first hand happening to a child at my kid’s school)
