Had a lot of fun re-building ehungry.com from scratch. I even had some time left for design CSS fun on the Features page and the Bento section on the homepage.

It's easy to take URL superpowers for granted, even if you already have these patterns under your belt.

@jim-nielsen.com has excellent notes with tons of references... including a neat experiment with JavaScript’s URL constructor.

Shouldn’t @property be called custom values instead of custom properties? Following the logic that in ‘display: block;’, display is the property while block is the value 🤔

The Enshittification of Dribbble is Complete
While stumbling onto Dribbble, I saw a post (and its... expected comment section) that served as a microcosm of the current state of a once beloved service.

We're hoping that we can work in the open with community support and sponsorship. The end result? People get genuine real world education that's free at the point of entry.

I'm excited to see that after 10 months of hard work by the team at Nolus, the new design of the dApp that we worked on last year is now live. I've learned so much from this project. Thanks for having me, Nolus 🙌

Just had another look at @penpot.app to see what's new. Turns out it's almost ready to replace Figma for me, the only thing missing is variables.

If at some point we have the option to write custom CSS inside that would be 👌🏻

We released springroll.com two months ago. We built this MVP with 2 designers and two developers for 4 months but what got me excited is that it was the first time I saw how fast small teams could move. And now I am hooked and want to do this over and over again 😊
