2/2 We have a small hayfield (15ac) that provides hay for the horse rescue. Managing to get the best yield is challenging for farming amateurs & has often meant wasted fertilizer. We do soil samples, but understanding our soil would be a great improvement. Thank you.

We run a horse rescue in south central Virginia. Ticks are just a way of life here. Every evening we finish up with a tick check. You've seen chimpanzees - that's us too. We have several friends with the "red meat" problem. But it is way more constricting and as the post shows can be a killer.

This is going to pass by with little attention. IT NEEDS TO BE SHARED AND SHOUTED OUT! It will be a discouragement in an already underfunded and undermanned PROFESSION. It needs to be reversed.
