This is the best source I’ve found that measures the impact of the sudden termination of critical humanitarian programs by the US govt. As of yesterday, over 200,000 children and over 100,000 adults have died unnecessarily. We are better than this.

Sadly, I cancelled my sub to @washingtonpost.com today. I will miss the outstanding reporting and thoughtful opinion pieces by an amazingly talented group of individuals. However, I need their owner to know that his policies undermine the very reason I have been a loyal subscriber.

Not surprising, but still shocking. Sadly, the richest country in the history of the world has chosen to turn its back on providing life-saving food, medicine, and clean water to the world’s most vulnerable populations. Termination letters state that this aid is no longer in our nation’s interest.
