True thing here: a visually-impaired acquaintance of mine reports that his adaptive screen reader sees right through the redactions. And points out that if DoJ had a few more visually-impaired people (aka Woke DEI hires) on staff this would have been caught immediately.

Between the Kennedy Center, the plaques under the portraits of his predecessors, and now the Trump-class "warship", Don has officially reached the "toddler smearing his own feces on everything" stage of development.

There's all kinds of things you can say about Trump's Reiner comments. But you can't say it's surprising. You can't say it's out of character. You can't say it's a new low. Anyone who has been OK with all the heinous things he's done and said has already made their peace with this kind of stuff.

At first I was pleasantly surprised to see a good number of right-wingers decrying the Kimmel suspension. But on second look, their objection always seems to be that the same tactic might be used against them some day. Not that it's wrong, or completely contrary to the Constitution.

If the Comey charges actually go to trial, does that mean we get to go over the huge pile of evidence that Russia interfered on Trump's behalf and that the Trump team was aware of it and welcomed the help, all in excruciating detail?

I keep hearing from MAGA about how we need to disengage from Europe/Russia to focus on China. But with DJT, you just KNOW it'll be "Okay, you take Taiwan and we'll grab us some mineral rights in the Phillipines."

What's Trump's beef with South Africa?
Trump has accused South Africa of "human rights violations" and a land grab. The South African government has hit back.

I'll admit, I like the idea of eliminating waste, fraud and abuse. But with the way DOGE's claims of results keep collapsing under scrutiny, I got a feeling they're going to cut a lot of bone and somehow miss a whole lot of fat. Or maybe just leave the fat and take a good slice for themselves.
