Reupping this now that the tariffs are finalized. Those on Canada and Mexico are MUCH, MUCH higher than those on China. It's an apparent move to flood the US market with Chinese products. (US currently has full employment and no capacity to substitute Canadian and Mexican products domestically).
The Trump tariffs can't be explained with dumbness alone. There's an ideological component.
